About ma2

I left NYC 1 1/2 years ago and move to Florida, I love Florida but, you need a car here.  I had a leased car but I had to turn it in 6/9/9. I am disabled and a friend comes from another city every 2 weeks to take me to the doctors and food shopping.  The money I get from SSD does not cover all my necessities. I live like a hermit no friends, no church, no life.  I read, watch TV and have access to internet service, this is my life. I need to be around people, so I have been applying for low income apt's in NYC.  This may take a long time because these apt's are not given on first come bacis, it is a LOTTERY and then you have to qualify. Also it is a low priorty if you live outside of NYC (even though I lived there for 59 years.) In NYC I can take the bus, a train or even walk where I need to go. What I need the grant for is moving money.  One month rent , one month security, money for a moving company and money to get me there.  Even though I have a good credit score my bank loan was turned down because  my income is low. I am very depressed and I cry all the time, please help me.  Thank you and God bless.

About mdck88

Good day,

I just discovered this website and hope that someone can help me; I have recently gotten laid off and am not certain if I even have insurance, unfortunately most of the jobs I have chosen did not provide dental; Which has become a serious problem, I have serious gum disease to the point where I am scared that my bottom teeth will one day fall out; I am so terrified and don't know where to turn,

If there are any programs that you suggest or dentists that you know of in NYC please let me know

Thank you so much in advance

I am totally disabled and I obtained my bachelors degree be4 surgery

Hi this is Barb again.  I wanted to let all of the members know, I too am disabled.  I suffer from 3 failed spine surgeries.  I'm on morphine.  I am like you I had to and remain to wait until my time comes to conquer the bills.  But until that time comes, I find ways to assist people in any way I can which is honest.  I have a bachelors degree in human services.  I obtained it in 2005 right be4 my 3rd spine surgery.  I worked in the hospital before that.  I used to live in dallas and worked and attended college.  I am giving you a background on me because I do not want you to think I am a crazy person.  I interned and I picked up on a vast amount of information and I hope some of it can aid you into a better situation
